Ali Price is a Scottish scrum-half who is an up-and-coming star on the international stage. Now a regular for Glasgow Warriors and Scotland, he’s a fan favourite thanks to his impressive performances in huge matches.
Born 12 May 1993, Ali Price began his senior career playing for RFU Championship side Bedford Blues in 2012. However, after a string of impressive performances, he signed for Glasgow Warriors in 2013. He’s played for the side ever since and has now featured for them almost 100 times.
While appearing for Glasgow Warriors, Ali Price has gained a reputation as a player who turns in impactful performances on the big stage. He was involved in a classic scrum-half snipe of a try against Ulster in the 2019 PRO14 semi-final and he also finished off a crucial score against Edinburgh in the same year.
Due to these performances, Ali Price has received a number of awards during his time with Glasgow Warriors and he was voted as the McCrea Financial Services Player of the Season in both 2016-17 and 2018-19.
Although Ali Price was born in England, he is eligible to play for Scotland through his Scottish mother. He chose to play for Scotland’s U20 team during his youth career and was capped for the first time by the country in 2016. Since, he’s made almost 50 appearances for the national side.
Due to the quality of his performances for Scotland, Ali Price earned a well-deserved call up for the 2021 British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa.
